Happy Hair

My before; lots of hair doing exactly what it wants.  This mane hasn't been tended to in awhile or brushed today.  Don't judge.

The color inspiration; bold red.

The woman on the left is Summer Bellessa.  I have a hair crush on her and I believe she is a faux red head.She is a bit of inspiration for color and the body of my hair.

These bangs are fabulous. Short, face framing perfection.

I want all of these things rolled up and combined on my head.  I anticipate one big explosion of faux red head fabulousness.  It's all going down tonight.  If you feel the earth shake (just for a second), it will be because my hair just got did.

Color Me Rad

Miss Jaime and I.

On Saturday I joined my my friend Jaime at the Color Me Rad 5k.  She's been running for about 6 months and I think she's becoming an enthusiast. This was her third 5k and my first.  It was a good time.  I finished in 39 minutes and I'm good with that.  It didn't even hurt like I thought it would.  I actually had such a great time that I offered to join her for the Fright Night Halloween run.

Now I have to figure out what costume to run in.

My friend started a program called "Couch to 5K".  I think it's working because today she did her first 5k, The color Run.  It isn't a race for time, walking is okay and that's good because she also signed up for the next one and I decided to join her.
